“When I first saw Berlin in 1985, I could not imagine that the encounter with this raw, gray, divided city would be the beginning of a deep, personal connection. The fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 was without doubt one of the most important events in my life I was privileged to witness. Today, a visit to Berlin is like meeting an old friend, giving me oppertunity for inspiration, expression and freedom of mind”.
