About me
I grew up in Amsterdam and began taking photography seriously around 2007. After a brief period in commercial work, I moved towards a more personal and conceptual approach, embracing analog photography and traditional darkroom-inspired techniques.
My work explores time, atmosphere and memory through long exposures, multiple exposures and minimalist compositions. I am particularly inspired by photographers such as Brassaï, André Kertész, Michael Kenna and Alexey Titarenko, whose work demonstrates photography’s ability to transform everyday scenes into something timeless and contemplative.
While analog photography remains central to my practice, I increasingly combine traditional photographic thinking with contemporary digital tools, often working with vintage and medium-format lenses to bridge the worlds of film and digital photography.
I live in The Hague.
